The first day of school got off to a great start for the Randolph County School System!
RCSS elementary school open houses were a BIG success on Thursday, August 20! We can't wait to see everyone back in the building TOMORROW!
Is your student(s) riding the bus this year? Don't forget to get the app "Here Comes the Bus".
1. Download and install the app
2. Tap Sign Up! (at the bottom) and enter the school district's code (74904)
3. Create your account (email address, first and last name, school district code, password)
4. Go to your email, find the one from noreply@synovia.com, and get the activation code. You will type in the activation code to activate your account on the app.
5. Add your Student's Last Name and their Student's ID Number. You can add another student and repeat this step as needed.
6. Once finished, tap complete!

This school year, students in all 17 elementary schools, all 6 middle schools and Eastern Randolph High School will be provided meals at no cost through the Community Eligibility Program. No free or reduced-price meal application is required for students attending these schools.
Meal prices for non-Community Eligibility schools, which includes all other high schools, are $1.25 for breakfast and $2.45 for lunch. If you believe your family would qualify for a reduced-price meal benefit, apply online at www.lunchapplication.com
If your family received a notification letter stating that all of your students are approved for meal benefits for the 2026-2027 school year, no application is required to be completed. Contact School Nutrition Services if any of your student's names are not listed on the letter.
If you have any questions about free and reduced-price meal benefits, the application process, or the Community Eligibility program, please call School Nutrition Services at 336-633-5130.
