The Book Fair is almost here! Shop the fair Monday, April 28th - Friday, May 2nd. The fair will also be open before our Transition Night from 3:45PM - 5:45PM. Look at our book fair website for more info on the fair and setting up a student eWallet for easy, cashless shopping! Also, consider donating to our Share the Fair account which benefits book purchases of students at AES. Students shopping the fair during school hours will also have the opportunity to round up to donate to this fund.

"Leadership Reads" is an initiative within the RCSS where members of the central office Leadership Team visit elementary schools to read to students. This morning, Director for Human Services, Shon Hildreth had the opportunity to read to Mrs. Matthews' 1st grade class. Thank you, Dr. Hildreth!
Cracking Into Science! Our second grade students are bringing science to life—literally! As part of their life cycle unit, they’ve been observing baby chicks hatch and grow right in the classroom. From eggs to fluffy friends, students are gaining hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of nature’s process. It’s been an egg-citing journey full of curiosity, care, and wonder!
Our amazing team of teachers took a well-deserved break and hit the greens at Top Golf for a fun-filled staff outing! Laughter, friendly competition, and some impressive swings made for a memorable afternoon. It was the perfect chance to celebrate all the hard work AES educators put in every day.
We are proud to announce our 2024-25 staff award winners, chosen by their fellow staff members for their dedication, hard work, and impact on our school community. BINGO NIGHT IS HAPPENING THIS FRIDAY NIGHT! From 6:00PM - 8:00PM, come support your school in getting new indoor basketball goals while having fun with the whole family. We will be selling pizza. There will be a teacher workday on Friday, March 14 - no school for students.
The opening reception for Youth Art Month was held yesterday at the Randolph Arts Guild in downtown Asheboro. Student artwork will be on display throughout March. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
