Mission Control: Archdale Elementary School. Join us for an evening packed with space-themed STEM activities, tasty pizza ($2/slice or $5 for 2 slices + drink) from 6:15-7:00, and a chance to win an awesome prize! RCSS has a few calendar updates to take note of...


The Randolph County School System will operate on a 2 hour delay, tomorrow, 1/14/25.


The RCSS will be closed tomorrow, 1/13/2025.


Due to Teacher Workdays, RCSS will be closed to students on 1/21/25 and 1/22/25.


Early Release information for 1/10/25


The RCSS will be closed 1/20/25 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

RCSS School Nutrition Services prepares approximately 6,500 breakfast and 10,000 lunch meals for students each school day. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback about our breakfast and lunch menus from parents, teachers, and staff. We will use this feedback to update our menus in order to enhance the school meal experience for our students. The Randolph County School System would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!


The early release day on Friday, December 20 will mark the beginning of our Winter break. Students will return to school on January 2.


Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winner, Jaxon Saferight! Jaxon has won the AES Spelling Bee three years in a row! We are proud to have him represent AES at the district spelling bee. Good luck, Jaxon!
We would also like to congratulate our runner up, Alishba Saeed, as well as the rest of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who won their class spelling bees to participate at the schoolwide level: Sara Maj, Levi Lake, Anabia Kashaf, Amirah Owens, Gannon Douglas, Anabia Khan, Aylin Acosta, and Hasan Sultan.
Finally, thanks also go to our AIG teacher Ms. Thompson as organizer, 5th grade teacher Mrs. Burkholder as word caller, and our 3rd-5th grade classroom teachers for their cooperation and support!
